I’ll be teaching a free one-hour workshop at the winter NAMM in Anaheim. This workshop will be the perfect introduction for anyone interested in starting a career in game audio, and a chance for any audio professional with a background in linear media to learn about essential game audio skills and best practices, such as:
- Audio editing techniques needed to create seamless music and SFX loops
- Music and SFX layering techniques
- How to use multi-band compression and side-chain compression in game engines to retain clarity and impact
- Design ambiances from the ground up using spatialization software normally used only in VR
- Creating and enhancing low-end for mobile games, and all in one VR headsets
